How to Customize

The CBC can be customized by distributors to meet specifications set by the electronics designer and/or manufacture. By following the instructions in the datasheet and reading the marks on the exterior insulator on the CBC, the CBC can be customized. 

Customization helps reduce lead times helping distributors react to demand changes quickly with the power to customize the capacitor in demand rather than waiting on a capacitor manufacturer to make them available again.

Each number below on the left (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) corresponds to the number on the "Top View" in the image above. If you needed a capacitor that is 3.2V rated or less with 1F of capacitance, you would purchase a 10cm CBC wire and the distributor would cut on the line marked  with a 2.

1 - 10cm - 1.6V - 2F

2 - 20 cm - 3.2V - 1F

3 - 30cm = 4.8V - 0.67F

4 - 40cm - 6.4V - 0.50F

5 - 50cm - 8.0V - 0.40F

5cm CBC

1- 5cm - 1.6V - 1F

2 - 10 cm - 3.2V - 0.5F

3 - 15cm = 4.8V - 0.33F

4 - 20cm - 6.4V - 0.25F

5 - 25cm - 8.0V - 0.20F

1cm CBC

1 - 1cm - 1.6V - 0.2F

2 - 2 cm - 3.2V - 0.1F

3 - 3cm = 4.8V - 0.067F

4 - 4cm - 6.4V - 0.050F

5 - 5cm - 8.0V - 0.040F
