MINIATURIZE Electronics with the CBC

As shown in the demonstration to the right, the CBC can utilize space on the PCB in this Dell laptop power supply better than existing capacitors enabling electronics designers to either: 

  1. Reduce the size of the product by optimizing new real estate
  2. Use new real estate to add functionality  
  3. Use freed up real estate to improve manufacturing efficiency

The one goal that is true for most electronics design engineers is to continue to miniaturize products. Making the product smaller makes customers happier more times than not and smaller products lead to logistical advantages in inventory and shipping! 

The CBC requires very little real estate on the PCB. Unlike traditional capacitors, the capacitor is in the length of the wire which is not sitting on the PCB other than where its through hole connections are.
